The Iconfactory has had an ongoing relationship with data encryption leader, PGP, for many years. When it came time for the client to release their PGP Universal application, they requested desktop and toolbar icons that emphasized security, stability and professionalism. Neutral tones and cool, metallic surface treatments were used overall to help communicate this philosophy to users. The suite is a strong example of what good icon design can contribute to a product’s branding and visual identity.
