XtremeMac commissioned the Iconfactory for an application icon for Freefall, a simulation program and screen saver that displays the flight path of over 650 orbiting satellites. The client requested an icon that communicated the features of the product via a direct translation of its function. The OS X desktop icon of a satellite orbiting the earth was the end result.
