The Iconfactory was proud to contribute to the world premiere launch of Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks’ web presence for War of the Worlds with this dramatic desktop icon suite. The film, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise, is a modern re-telling of H.G. Wells’ cautionary tale of invaders from Mars. The client requested an icon set that captured the tone of the film without giving away crucial plot points or “spoilers”. The result is a set of icons that fans loved, and that the studios could give away as free promotional material.
