(25.Jul.07) Announcing IconBuilder for Windows 2.0
We are pleased to announce that the Windows version of our professional filter for constructing icons, IconBuilder, has been updated to handle the creation of large format, 256×256 ICO files for Windows Vista. The filter also offers a host of new features that icon artists everywhere will appreciate. Here is a highlight of just some of the new features that IconBuilder for Windows 2.0 has to offer:
- Added support for 256×256 Vista icons
- Icons can now be saved with PNG compression
- Added automatic color table generation
- New Verify panel to check icon resources

IconBuilder for Windows 2.0 requires Windows XP or Vista. The filter is designed to work in conjunction with either Adobe Photoshop 7.0+ (including CS3), Elements 2.0+ or Fireworks CS3 and is available today for $49.00 USD. Users who registered IconBuilder XP 1.0 after April 1st, 2007 are entitled to a free upgrade. The upgrade fee for those who purchased the product prior to April 1st, 2007 is $20.00.
